Yunnan Baiyao Capsule (Yunnan Paiyao Capsule)

Yunnan Baiyao capsule or Yunnan Paiyao capsule is a traditional Chinese medicine marketed and used as a hemostatic product in both human and veterinary alternative remedies. This formula can stop external and internal bleeding and has been shown to reduce perioperative bleeding as well as bleeding in various ulcerative-hemorrhagic conditions. Yunnan Baiyao capsule is also popular for animals with hemangiosarcoma, a type of cancer that commonly affects dogs. This formula contains several herbs, including notoginseng, which can help activate blood circulation and stop bleeding.

Ingredients: Radix notoginseng, Ajuga Forrestii Diels, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Rhizoma Dioscoreae Nipponicae, Herba Geranii & Herba Erodii, Dioscoreae Parviflora Ting, Herba Inulae Cappae

Instructions: Adults can take 1-2 capsules of Yunnan Baiyao up to 4 times a day. In general, children of 2-5 years can take ¼ the adult dose of Yunnan Baiyao 4 times a day. Children aged 5-12 can take ½ the adult dose each time. However, it is often best to consult your Chinese medicine practitioner to find the right dose for your child.
